At
Bayridge, our students enjoy a variety of
extra-curricular clubs
Student Council
Each intermediate class is
represented by 2 student members. These students then
make up our Bayridge student council and have regular
meetings throughout the school year. Representatives
are nominated and elected by each division.
Peer
Mediation
Students in grade 6 and 7 are eligible to be trained as
Peer Mediators. During recess and lunch these
mediators are available to students and assist them in
resolving conflicts and problems.
Calligraphy
Intermediate students can enjoy learning the wonderful
art of calligraphy.
Chess
All students are welcome to join our chess club. The
chess club meets in the library and students can enjoy
learning and developing chess skills as well as playing
against others at their level.
Computer
Our computer club provides the opportunity for students
to improve their typing, keyboard and general computer
skills.
Dance
Intermediate students are welcome to join our dance club
and learn a variety of styles and types of dances.
In 2003 our club performed in the Surrey Dance Festival!
